Shorts for GIT402

For my GIT402 class, I decided to base my three short-form videos on something that feels close to the bone: my shift from decades of tattooing to a brand-new world of digital art. The class is all about branding a product, and honestly, what better “product” to explore than my own creative evolution? Each video let me play with style, pacing, and voice while giving my audience a taste of what it’s like to leave behind the buzz of a tattoo machine and pick up an iPad, a camera, and a whole new workflow. It’s been fun showing the messy middle—where experience meets curiosity and everything still feels a little bit wild.

Even though I’ve been creating art my entire life, filming and editing still make me feel like a total beginner in the best possible way. GIT402 gave me the push to start experimenting, try new tools, and be okay with not having everything perfect yet. These three videos are just the beginning. I’ve got a lot to learn—from lighting to storytelling—but I’m honestly excited about it. Every project teaches me something new, and I can’t wait to keep leveling up my filmmaking and digital art skills as this journey unfolds. See you when I get back from Mexico!
